This course will run from 25th January to 5th April. It will be held online via zoom with sessions lasting four hours Our CEO Maria Naranjo will deliver this programme
We have developed a tiered programme that starts at introductory level and has four levels This level is for people who do not have experience or knowledge of mental health and wellbeing This level offers an insight into Mental Health and Wellbeing, including techniques and tools that will help you to get into the driving seat of your wellbeing You will learn about: reduce stigma surrounding mental health arm young people with healthy coping strategies promote knowledge of the impact of mental health on behaviour dispel myths surrounding mental health promote understanding of positive and negative impacts on mental health help individuals to make the right choices promote understanding of the potential uses and impact of social media and the internet create resilience
Entry requirements
The level 5 award could provide progression to: SCQF level 6 / QCF level 3 qualifications an NC in Health and Social Care an SVQ 2/Modern Apprenticeship in Social Services and Healthcare employment in the care sector These Awards provide opportunities to develop: Core Skills (which underpin all National Certificates) transferable skills
